I discuss how I integrate rubric construction, assessment practices, and reflection into classroom writing practices. It's an Adobe file (.pdf) and about 435 kb in size. [ sophistic assessment and validity article ] This article is forthcoming in The Journal of Writing Assessment. It applies the ancient Greek debates of nomos-physis to contemporary assessment discussions of validity, and offers a sophistic validity heuristic for WPAs and writing teachers.
